Conforma Clad has developed a brazed tungsten carbide cladding for popcorn sized fly ash screens and grates. The cladding process significantly diminishes the effects of abrasion, corrosion, and erosion caused by fly ash and other particulate matter. Thus the life of the screen is extended. The tungsten carbide cladding can be applied to new screens, or applied to existing screens.
